Hi; it's me and my colorful avatar-generator avatars again! I was inspired by a comment from taraljc to try my hand at making Number One, and while I was at it I made Winona Kirk and re-did Helen Noel because she didn't look like Thora Birch. Because Kirk is sometimes a captain, sometimes a scientist, and sometimes an engineer in the fiction I've read and enjoyed, I have put her in all three colors, so there are a zillion variations here.

The other day I got this crazy idea to reproduce the Reboot posters using cartoon versions of the characters made at www.faceyourmanga.com's manga avatar generator. Of course, once I made the two main posters - Kirk, Spock, Uhura, McCoy, Sulu, Chekov, Scotty (and I added Chapel instead of Nero) - I started to get pissed off as always at the lack of women, and the result is these two wallpapers (and a lot of icons).



Freely shareable and no credit necessary for the icons, since they are not really my own art. Information and photos for the mental fantasy cast I used to make the avatars is also under the cut.

I was watching the Reboot earlier, and wondering what Nurse Chapel would have looked like, had she appeared. Does anyone have any actresses that they'd love to see play her in future films? Anyone's game, really. I've seen Kristen Bell suggested before, and I kind of like her in that role. But I'd also be curious to see who you guys think is made for the Starfleet blues.

Also, one of my favorites, Yeoman Rand, wasn't in the film. Who would you like to see cast as her? I have a harder time picking someone for her, and, unfortunately, haven't heard much actress speculation relating to her. I think it's because of her awesome hair, and how hard it is to imagine her as anyone else. ^^;;

Feel free to chime-in with dream casting for any TOS-era woman (Number One, Joanna McCoy, etc). I'd love to hear your opinions. ^^
